Question about salary ranges...
For those of you who are in more computer-training type fields, I have a question. I'm looking at a job that hires teachers to be educational technology consultants. Basically, they are sent around to different schools to train other teachers in the use of different new technologies (i.e. Smartboards). They also work with principals to help identify and set up educational tech systems for use by their teachers.
The job doesn't require any sort of computer programming background; just that you have experience in teaching, with a Masters in Education preferred.
I have a Master's in Teaching and 1 year of teaching experience. About roughly how much do you think the salary range would be?
As a comparison, NYC public schools starting salary for a Masters with no teaching experience is about $51k.
